IT OBSTACLES to EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

I've listed four major obstacles to educational technology, here are the four obstacles

Reliability

We all know that not all information in the internet are true and valid even real. As a student we must not depend on the internet at all times, because we might find our self being drag because our information are not true and real. We must be aware that the information given by the internet are not sufficient and real, it depend on us on how to

QUALITY

In a sense that not all computers are doing it well and not all computers giving us the right information and the right links we are going to search. I believe that quality in the computers it self and quality in the service their giving to the students as well as in the institution they been trusted must be equipped the best and trusted quality of computers.

SECURITY

Security is important because for example in this room and classes, if some students engaging an immoral act pertaining to the IT itself and that computers do not have any security, the student will not be punish and learn his/her lesson. For the computers they should have a security so that they can easily trace what so ever mistake brought by any of the students or facilitator.

COMPLEXITY

I believed that not all students knows on how to use the computers, its difficult for them to use it and search in the internet. IT instructor must be able to discuss it properly so that some of the student will have knowledge in using the computers.

SUGGESTIVE note in IT OBSTACLE

In this generation, I believed that IT is very important not only in giving us such information in the internet but its also give us the right links on what sources we are going to surf. But as far as the technology concern we must use it in moderate because after all this only a machine it has a life expectancy. I also believed this Hi-tech is one of the key stone in making our country as one of the world's richest country in near future. To overcome the four obstacle I mentioned we must put it in our mind that WE are the boss and that computers is our employee we must not tolerate in using the computers and we must be responsible enough in using it, and lastly we must not depend on the computers because we are the brains of the computers.

This country is concentrated to its ICT because they believe that this technology will bring them to the world's most richest country. Their principles includes:

HONGKONG

In 1998, their country launch the “Information Technology for Learning in a New Era: Five-year Strategy – 1998/99 to 2002/03”. This 5 strategy sustaining the development of IT in their country. The strategy outlines Hong Kong's aims to harness the power of ICT to turn schools into dynamic and innovative learning institutions, where students can become more motivated, inquisitive, creative and independent lifelong learners. Their Government is intent on harnessing the full potential of information and communications technology (ICT) to benefit the community and enhance their country position as a leading digital city.

SINGAPORE

Singapore is, today, one of the world's premiere business cities, being consistently ranked as one the world most competitive nations. This is the evident from the fact that places second in Asia, behind the Japan, in the degree of diffusion and adoption. Singapore's economic structure has been transformed from one of the labour-surplus, manufacturing-intensive economy to a highly skilled. techonology-intensive one.

MALAYSIA

The country begun to use the ICT's during 1996, the Government has introduced various initiatives to facilitate the greater integration of ICT to improve capacities in every area of life, including the enhancement of education and training programmes. They started to fulfill their vision what they called "VISION 2020" Malaysia's long-term vision, calls for sustained, productivity-driven growth, possible only with a technologically literate, critically thinking workforce, prepared to participate fully in the global economy of the 21st century. To fulfill thier vision they begun to use the smart-school which enhance the student on how to use the ICT and on how to develop it. In 2010,they have now 2000+ of smart school which teaches their students about ICT.
